Captured Pirate “Very happy to be here”

Musi, as it turns out, is a pirate by day, and a rapper by night. He raps about money, prison and b*tches, but has found it hard to prove himself “street credible” since he has never been to prison. “Life in an American federal prison will make my message far more marketable,” explains Musi. “There are plenty of b*tches in prison.”

Pirates: We Will Not Stop Until Chuck Norris Comes In

Chuck Norris, who is the most famous “blow man” in Africa, is a symbol of strength, courage, triumph and patriotism. Like Kenny Rogers, he is one of the most respected white men in Africa. Maizebreak Staff Writer Fired!

Accra, Ghana – In June of this year, Senior Staff Writer Fredricka Owusu wrote a riveting report on the conditions of Ghana’s premier beach in Accra: La Pleasure Beach.  Three months after the report, the backlash has been unforgiving.

Sadly, the backlash has been against the wrong Ms. Owusu. MaizeBreak recently received a complaint from a young lady who has been receiving threatening calls and emails from angry Ghanaians across the globe.  Declining to comment further on what has been said in those calls, she asked us to verify the author as so to give her some peace: It is an unfortunate case of mistaken identity.

“I doubt there are very many people with my same name roaming the planet,” she said.

It is with regret that we have to inform the rest of Ghana that while Fredricka Owusu is an uncommon name, it is not unique.

In the meantime, we have fired our staff writer for the following crime: Having the same name as one of our readers. We at MaizeBreak firmly believe that rather than encouraging Ghanaians to focus on cleaning their grimy beach, we must do the socially responsible thing and terminate the employment of the woman who brought the issue to the forefront.

We’ve asked Kwaku Ananse to replace Ms. Owusu and spin webs and toli that will keep the youth amused and ignorant instead.
